Intresting canary. Is your view on the requirement for English NHS staff to get a covid jab that its sensible
Knowing Singapore, that doesn't surprise me
good idea.
gawd this is terrifying, that's twice today I have agreed with canary!
Not sure the point of posting that here and now.
We have a National Health Service.
It is not based on the sense of the person getting ill, or we would have been without our Clown of a Prime Minister 18 months ago when he was running around without a mask and social distancing, the incredibly got Covid-19.

Well the sick, unvaxxed, Singaporeans can always come to the UK and avail themselves of the WHS (world health service) for free!
davebro
Don’t be really daft. They cannot just fly in here from Singapore. It would take months and hundreds of pounds, and they would still be turned away.
That is not true -and you know it Gromit.
The big problem with forcing or coercing people into the vaccination is that you leave yourself wide open for legal challenges when someone reacts to the vaccine that refused it.

The NHS is broke enough with further legal action.
What happens if they can't afford it or their bills exceed their insurance limits?
Looks like many on here are happy for them to just die Naoimi.
Yes. They have got the nerve to do it. We have not, yet.
"Well the sick, unvaxxed, Singaporeans can always come to the UK and avail themselves of the WHS (world health service) for free!"

Another of the great myths.
I a have friend from abroad who's lived in the UK for about three years. Despite having a job and payingf NI she still has to pay thousands in health insurance
> What happens if they can't afford it or their bills exceed their insurance limits?

"They" have a straight choice, get the vaccine or pay your own medical bills if you don't. If they can't afford it then I suppose they end up bankrupt, owing the state for their care.
In other words blackmail.
If you want to see it that way ...
It is blackmail... and I agree, with ymb. How about those that do react badly to a vaccine? May not be many.... but nobody can be blamed for covid, but pushing someone into a vaccine they don't want, is a massive moral responsibility.
I'm glad we don't triage by lifestyle here. That would take forever to work out.
Ellipsis. it is blackmail.
100% blackmail, but then thats what all the Covidians on here are happy about. Anything to get their way.

Cant wait until the same principle is used for something they dont like. Bet there is bleating a plenty then.
Again, you think what you like, Naomi, and I'll think what I like.
