I've been watching an old tv programme on 4 body in the pool, I still cannot decide, if Barrymore or his party guest, were guilty, what was your opinion on the case.

Happened in 2001 and I doubt if anyone will ever know the truth.

Someone knows the truth.......they're just not saying.

As far as I'm concerned, he knows alright. I'll never watch him in anything again. I'm so sad for the victim and his family.😪

I think Barrymore knew alright who it was but it definitely wasn't him.  Perhaps he didn't want to be known as a TOUT.

guilty of what? - - To a certain extent it is like Spcey . Both men had 'louche' (= bad, nardy) reputations and had a party. and things happened.

and really it  is like marrying Prince harry - well what do you expect ?

He is a great loss to Saturday night light entertainment.

I don't miss him.  He turned in to a bully who enjoyed humiliating people on TV for 'fun'.

there are many of us who can be described as a 'floating voter' on this one.

Really?

I thought he was as amusing and entertaining as root canal surgery.

🤣

I never did find out what a 'middler bottom' was.

If he was innocent why didn't he stay and help the police instead,of running away from his own home??

I magine he'd had quite a lot to drink, and he probably panicked, thinking that a scandal could ruin his career, which turned out to be quite correct.

I don't believe that fleeing indicates guilt, just panic, and not thinking clearly.

I think he knew more than he let on.  I think he's a creep.

We'll never know, but I think your assessment is correct.

I am permanently mystified as to why he was ever on television in the first place.

I saw him live well before his TV career took off.

He screamed at a front row audience member until the man left the auditorium.

It was as funny as an autopsy, you could feel everyone cringing.
