I'm growing abit concerned as he hasn't messaged me all day

Don't be worried, Abbey.  Sometimes people do not respond to messages - particularly if they are busy.  Sometimes they want to write a sensible response when they have time to do it properly rather than a hurried response.  If they are a bit daft like me, sometimes they let their phone run out of charge and then they can't until it is charged up.  Lots and lots of really good reasons and no need to worry.
