Get up, have my shower , put on clean jeans and a top, wear a little makeup,, do a nice meal for Mr B and me tomorrow night with a bottle of good wine which I've been saving , I shall of course change from jeans into a nice dress, light some candles and celebrate his vaccine with a date night :0)

'Nice and common'. Seem to recall that that is a line in a John Osborne play.
Settle down..."common" was the result of predictive typing, as I actually typed " c'mon".

I would never call you common bobbie and you know that.

Phew!!! I was starting to feel Chav-like haha
Anyway will have to see what our GP says about this terribly high sugar reading first
What high sugar reading?
"...chilli or Bolognese..."??
I expected something a bit less...everyday. A nice steak if that's your thing, or something you might have for a meal out.
Well...don't get any tomato sauce on your dress.
Sqad - Mr Bobbs is diabetic and has a sweet tooth so things may be a bit haywire.
Question Author
Sqad his levels are reading too high lately, 16.2 after his breakfast for example

Pasta I'll wear a sauce coloured dress ( if I have one ) ;0)
LJ....I know that, have done for over a decade, but I repeat
"What high reading?"
Question Author
16.2 Sqad
Sqad - sorry sir. Just trying to be helpful.
bobbi, this is not a recent occurrence as high sugars have been a problem with Bill for ages.
Why take his blood AFTER breakfast, BEFORE would be more helpful in his diabetic state and also BEFORE dinner?
Question Author
Just told him this Sqad, as always thank you for this good advice you've given us ( he said thank you also )
I've known a couple of diabetics, and they've often taken readings both before, and a few hours after...this to check how a meal impacts on their glucose levels.
After about a week of testing his blood sugars, get back to me on Body and Soul.

The Americans manage Type2 diabetes much better than us in the UK, in my opinion ion.
Question Author
He's going to ring our GP on Monday which will by then have given him time to see if he has an after effect of his Covid jab of not
Question Author
I will, thank you Sqad
That's probably because they've got more of it...we're catching up though.
pasta....true...the Americans would have someone like bobbies's husband on Insulin far earlier than us Brits, something that I applaud.
We wait too long.
Question Author
I think he now knows that's inevitable Sqad
