He knows Abbey dithers and has difficulty making decisions, so he may be taking advantage of that.

//He is using her vulnerability to try and get her to meet him//

But that makes him sound calculating and deviant too Greyseal.

We don't know this bloke - only what Abbey has said which to be honest I would take with a huge pinch of salt.

I was told by another volunteer who has know him for 17 years to be very careful of him

He also says he is bottom of my list isn't he

Please stop being so awful about this man. You have been happy to accept lifts, meals, a gift and outings from him.

Thought that this man had packed up working at the dog's home. Had a disagreeemant with boss over the hi-viz jacket he was wearing ? Now he's back at the home. Is that right abbey?

I don’t take what Abbey says with a pinch of salt.  I think she's geuine and a gentle soul, not strong-willed and not given to being bolshie or rude or pushy.  If you’re none of the above it's difficult to tell others straight.  Some would just tell that man to shove off but Abbey isn't like that.  I would like Abbey to tell him politely, that she won’t be lunching with him again and if it's easier for her to say she's met someone, then fine.  She has - and the job needs to be done.  But Abbey - if you do tell him - don’t go back on it.  Stick to your guns.  No more lunches, no more lifts, no more anything.   If you cross paths with him, just say hello and treat him the same as you'd treat anyone else.

He volunteers like me and yes he stopped dog walking as he thinks staff should wear hi vi's aswell while dog walking but they're not up for adoption mainly police dogs and hi vi's says adopt me on them so they don't want to be approached about the dog.
