Welcome to Mad Over Fifties Club, in light of the wonderful weather we have here at Nungate Towers, we're holding tonights meeting down on the beach.
The Tailcock tonight is the "Sandy Shore" (no strings attached!) just the thing to sip when barefoot!
We have set up the barbecue, and Luigi's Ice Cream van will be along later.
DJ Bert Fanackapan is just setting up down by the mooring for Polar Bear's 'Berg keeping things nice and cool.
Tonight's festivities will be whatever members decide they should be, all the facilities are available for members use, from the indoor pool in the dungeon to the bungee on the topmost Tower (beware of the piranhas in the moat when jumping)
A warm welcome awaits all who dare enter these portals

carriages at midnight

sorry in a bit of a rush tonight......

I've never seen a reptile snake on the turf at Wimbledon, plenty of human ones though.

In spite of everything I did. The most fun you can have sitting down!
Jeza, a bit of petrol or White spirit on a cloth will remove it, rub gently though.
C'mon nungate, tell us about it.
Ohhhh, I think I know, and it involved Asda !.
Here's one for you, tony....this will keep you out of mischief. You can buy the kit in Ikea.....

DT, for goodness sake, what defines a a woman who is not a lesbian? Do you really hate women?
Asda - as in Wallymart...?
No, Daisy, love them.....it's just playing off a good stupid joke I found yesterday about women players at Wimbledon, nothing more.
Oh yes DT, a few hours of fun putting that giant airfix car together.

Yep, Wallymart.
Thanks Tony will try tomorrow.

I went shopping, but I couldn't manage to walk round the supermarket I got so far but...anyway an assistant offered to help, he brought me one of those motorised wheelchairs. I was whizzing around that store like a mad thing! Didn't hurt anyone (or me) didn't bump into anything, and had a ball - told best beloved I want one!! In addition to my normal arthritis and gout nonsense I've blown my knee and it needs treatment so I can barely walk and that chair was a godsend and so much fun! In fact it was so much fun I went shopping again the next day and had so more fun in a whizzy chair, so far it's the only upside I've found to this whole arthritic mess I'm in

and Sainsburys Tony! (I'm a shopping tart loyal to no particular store!)
Right nungate, so best beloved knows what to get you for Christmas or birthday, which ever comes first.
A whole new lease of life nungate! Go for it.
Well thats another store to have fun in, nungate.
[i] note to self; avoid all Edinburgh and region supermarkets[i]
Question Author
it really was fun, it's the first time I've enjoyed going to a supermarket in such a long time. I usually have it delivered but I had some other errands to run - run? Limp more like, so we decided to hit the shops.
