Puff, puff.....

The Club is now Open

Welcome again to all who enter.

Tonight's talk is to be given by a mystery speaker who has promised to show us slides of their holidays in the UK and abroad.
The equipment and chairs have been set up in the big sitting-room upstairs .
Clearly an event not to be missed.

So far for tonight's raffle , I have

5 green bottles
5 eggs (sell by 12th May 2012)
5 spice powder ( half a pack)

Indeed sir, your coat has been extremely well-hidden - your flagon, sir...

Tonight's thread is extracting the Michael now...branded what ?
Good evening all. For the raffle I would like to offer:
A signed photo of Syd Little
A Croatian-Dutch dictionary
An LP made into a fruit bowl
A slightly out of date jar of piccalilli
Good evening milady, and all others, I trust we have all enjoyed our day ? I will unload this basket containing waffle donations, an eye for a needle , and a melon baller, also a pair of furry dice, suitable for car, broomstick etc. I still have my poncho as the evening will be cooler when we depart . A moonkist would be gratefully received.
piccalilli my favourite, no seaweed in there is there??
Good evening, mrs o - a flagon of Moonkist...

I like piccalilli...
Milady if we discuss the battle of ? and ? we may lose our exalted spot.
Question Author
Welcome flump and Mrs O.
Thank you for the raffle prizes.

Hope I win the melon baller and I could do with that dictionary to complete my collection .

I think the mists are beginning to clear, Mamya....I haven't been around much today , or indeed this week due to attic clearing activities, but am beginning to grasp that there may have been a bit of a bun fight followed by terrible consequences.
Evening Fiends (sorry Friends). Hope you are all well, Can I have a moonkist and a gin?.
Good evening, miss flump - your poncho will be missed in the hidey-hole, but here is your flagon...
Thank you kindly LIK

Mamya, erm, you could pretend the green layer on top (I told you it was slightly out of date) is seaweed if you like

Your ladyship, I hope you gethat you wish for
Question Author
Hello PB.
As far as I can see the fiends are all well.
Take it the iceberg is OK ?
sorry your ladyship, that flagon went straight to my head

I hope you get all that you wish for
Alas miss bear, on Matron's orders, gin is not to be made available to the guests until the Moonkist runs out - your flagon, miss
Question Author
WHy thank you, MrsO. How refreshingly polite you are.
Some members here have been known to cast nasturtiums on my run of luck in the raffle...I don't know why, but there it is.
Run of luck? pass me a drink!
Indeed, Matron - a large one?
Question Author
See what I mean , Mrs O ?
Sometimes people can be quite unkind.
