Khandro - //
Why do singers who pull such strange theatrical pretend angry faces get such a following? I don't know what his voice was like, but the photos show him as a raging maniac, why, what did he have to be so angry about? //

Live performance is about passion, and being in the moment.

If you watch any performer doing anything on television with the sound off, they look faintly ridiculous.

Put the sound on, and it all becomes clear.

So have a look, and more importantly a listen to Meatloaf singing, and you'll see he's not angry at all, he is performing a role and emoting a story, and he is not 'angry' in the slightest.
Nice tribute for him with your avatar TTT.
I think the meaning is.
For example: "But I'll never forget the way you feel right now, Oh no - no way - I would do anything for love, But I won't do that"
Would you offer your throat to the wolf with the red roses?
again !
rip Meat Loaf
AH : He was probably a nice kind guy, I'm just intrigued why so many photos in today's press show him looking crazed. I never knowingly heard him sing, but r.i.p. anyway
yeah shirley, I thought him worthy!

she says that to all the boys.......

Any rock vocalist caught in mid-syllable looks like that .

Have a listen to Meatloaf singing anything, you'll hear why - otherwise it will remain a mystery.
So Khandro do you always "listen" to music with the sound off?
This was what made his name in the UK - all 11 minutes of an epic Paradise by the Dashboard Light on OGWT in 1978 :

Succint.

With regard to the 'worst albums in Christendom' - have you heard Coldplay?
Sad news, RIP Meatloaf

The first song I remember from him when I was a kid was Dead Ringer For Love with Cher. I was never a big fan of his music style so other than BOOH and IWDAFL I don't know any of his other songs.
You can add Coldplay to the list as well, Andy. They too are a bag of s***e:-)
Re Coldplay.....that's a matter of opinion! Whatever is not your cup of tea, maybe someone else's.
// probably the worst albums in Christendom //

written (I suspect) by someone who's never heard of Bobby Conn.....
14:31, reported, trolling.
melv16 this is post about a deceased performer, I don't care what you think, if you don't like him, fine, have the decency to stay off the thread instead of going out of your way to post troll comments.
Great voice, entertainer, who will be sadly missed.
3T's. The words speck and boulder suddenly spring to mind.
