I can take or leave Meatloaf's music but always enjoyed his appearances on TV... larger than life and the type of bloke I would enjoy having a pint with.

I was incredibly lucky to get to see Meatloaf when he was on his Bat out of Hell tour. I am so very sad to read of his death. May he rest in peace. And yes Mr Loaf.....I probably would do THAT. x

I'm so sad, in the early eighties I actually wore out a copy of BOOH. I used to get back from serving in the pub and put it on my record player, headphones on and I was in the world of the genius Steinman lyrics and the stunning voice of the big man. One night I drifted off, turned over and pulled the headphone jack out and woke up the whole house. Mum wasn't best pleased but she saw the funny side after. RIP Marvin.

Aww I am sad to read this and as someone said, not that old really. He always came across as a very nice man. RIP.
