4 but two were from same person!

None. nobody loves me. 😢

^^ Am sure your fan-club members are out there choosing one  for you Arky .. but I haven't seen too many cards stating "Merry Xmas, Muppet" 😊..or Vampire come to that!

Yeah but bless you Hazi, that'd be scary. I usually get mine when I meet up with family etc Christmas eve etc...

Got a card and a present yesterday from a friend who comes to stay for a pre Christmas visit every year.  It'll be a sorry day when people don't send cards anymore.  I don't mind if people think I`m not worth the walk to the postbox or the price of a stamp but they had better not send an e-card.

None yet - but we 0nly send bits of card to close family now (the older ones). All other people we wish happy Christmas and new year to personally online.

Money saved in cost of postage and stamps I think about giving to charity but buy chocolate instead. Only jesting we do donate to a local charity.

None, don't want them. Straight in the bin.

i had one yesterday ,i'm going to cut my list down this year the stamps cost too much .

David do you want to borrow my Bah Humbug hat x

... and the Spirit of Christmas lives on  ... or does it?

Our first came today from very close friends.  We send a out 4 to relations and these  particular friends.   None of them live anywhere near and all are special to us.

Ours (to send) are lined up, on parade, and ready for despatch on the 11th of December. Haven't received any yet.

We received our first one on November 29th.  We also received a message from a relative who usually sends a card to let us know that they are donating money to charity instead of sending cards.

I got a generic "Season's Greatings" (sic) card from the Association of Women and Youth Against Fundamentalism several weeks ago.  (I'm on some very odd mailing lists!)

Then our local newsletter came with a rather nice Christmas card from the local Anglican church tucked inside it.

However my first 'proper' card arrived just a few days ago.  (It's from a former pupil of mine, who still keeps in touch after roughly 40 years.  The fact that she's now considering retiring from her job make me feel really old!).

I posted my first two cards off today, with one heading for Italy and one to the USA.  The others, destined for the UK, will all get posted within the next few days.

Received 2.  Sent 1 in a packet to a friend in Thailand.  Tomorrow the Australian relative and parcel up the other packets/parcels to go inland.  It's so dear that presents are quite small. Main one is for the 4 Gt-grandchildren in Devon.  Everything like that will be off this week.

Then it's the cards.  More will be going by email this year.

I always make my own Christmas cards, this year my picture is;

I sent out the first to distant parts today, such as the USA.  Sadly with the passage of time, there are less & less recipients to send them to. 😟

I get sent one every year!! From a life long friend ! I dont bother myself. I used to in the distant past send out about 30!!

^^^ Sorry, Khandro.  That's a dead link.

3 so far - one from my son's dog, one from a political party and one through the door from my next door neighbour.

I'm only accepting cards with money tucked inside this year.
