Just had a very upset friend on the phone. She's been to visit her late husband's grave and someone has stolen the wreath that she left there just a few days ago. Probably just a thoughtless act, but I hope the thief realises the hurt he/she has caused.

Sure its been stolen and not just blown away?
Doesn't come much lower than that imo.
That's rotten, maggiebee. No wonder she's upset.

What kind of scum steals from a grave?
There are callous, heartless, mindless numpties out there who should be put down.
I always tie my wreath to my nan and pop's grave...people will take anything !!!

Not blown away Boo, she had it well anchored with a couple of metal tent pegs - apparently not well enough.
That is a really nasty thing to do.
Scum of the earth!
I am sorry to hear that, I cannot understand the low life who do that.
It's probably hanging on someone's front door. She should take a walk in the neighbourhood.
They are scum bags. It happens more and more nowadays im afraid. It will probably be sold on the next boot sale/table top sale.
I wish a plague of boils on the thief

If it was stolen, well that's a rotten thing to do and I'm sure whoever it was will regret it
But consider that, if it was a few days ago, it could have been removed be the maintenance staff, at this busy time of year

May I wish you a Happy Christmas & all the best for the New Year
so sorry to hear that. the thief needs anchoring down with tent pegs preferably through their feet. please pass on all our good wishes and thoughts to your friend.
terrible and low-end
They deserve a slap with a gravediggers shovel.
that is the most despicable act anyone could commit
i agree with the others .. the thieves deserve to have the whole world thrown at them
please also pass on my thoughts to your friend
I know just how your friend must feel, maggie the same thing happened to me a few years ago. There was also a case in the local rag a couple of Christmases ago were the groundsmen at a local cemetery caught a couple of *** stealing wreaths, it turned out they were selling them on at Sunday markets. If I remember rightly they got 6 months apiece and according to the gossip one was quite badly hurt when he fell over a headstone trying to run away.
the Judge said that it was a very grave offence and they should be stoned as the public was cross. No, they deserve the wrath of him upstairs if there is a him upstairs.
