Why.........Wouldn't that make her equal to bomb happy men on a good day!!!!
Did you worry about it when Maggie had her finger on the button?
Sadly, ummmm seems to have a point. It was men who destroyed two cities, not to end a war but as a demo to the Russians. It was men who despatched an aircraft en route to Moscow with a nuclear bomb on board after a panic caused by a stray bear (The plane was stopped by driving a vehicle onto the runway). And it was men who kept the secret eight-digit code set at 00000000 for years. I have a file 1cm thick which is a list of nuclear accidents. Of course it is coincidence that no women were involved, but they seem unable to do much worse.
Dee-M-See, your last two lines are just soooo last decade. Get with it.
Biggest problem is she's french let alone a woman.
With leaders like Reagen and Bush in the US and Yeltsin in Russia (who was always drunk) I think I would rather have a woman in charge.

In fact almost ALL wars and conflicts in history have been started by men so I hardly think we have anything to crow about.
I think DMS was expecting and dare I say hoping, for a backlash of female abers cursing and 'being irrational' with his very sexist comment; maybe with the hope that he could say " See what I mean?" He's pretty damn sad.
"In fact almost ALL wars and conflicts in history have been started by men so I hardly think we have anything to crow about."

Surely this is as much a reflection of the fact that very few women have been in charge and hence able to do it as much as it might be that women are necessarily less inclined to go to war?

Elizabeth the First certain had a few goes!
France has been run by woman for years, hardly surprising.
