Aircraft Now

Hi Abers, there are aircraft flying in careful patterns over the UK. They appear on paths where they could be spraying? I have trawled the net and find no info other than the planes are private hire companies. Does anyone know what on earth theyre doing? Their proximities to major cities etc makes it look a tad sinister. Tia.

Theyre doing so e sort of survey, if its the same people as were over Wales and Liverpool

The one over Manchester is operated by Ravenair who offer aerial surveys so probably hired by Google or some such.

If it is a survey, id love to know what it is and it's use! The ground has all been mapped before so what could they possibly be doing?

Google satellite is updated all the time, even my house is on its third view.

I wish they would rephotograph our area, our house shows as a bare plot of land.

Prudie, very true, for a few years, due to a technical problem, the grass in my garden was purple on Google earth. It became green again about two years ago.

The most recent one I had to click the link to complain because my car registration hadn't been blurred out. I was presently surprised to find they'd acted on it and rectified within only a few days.
