The Club is now open.

The Committee reminds all members that the summer fete is fast approaching.

As this is usually accompanied by a break in the weather, members are advised to stock up on rainmates , mackintoshes, welly boots and gamps.

Donations of bric-a-brac, cake and candy etc may be left in the upper lesser drawing room for sorting by the members of the fete sub-committee.
Applications for membership of the fete sub-committee are currently being vetted.

Please give generously. This year's profits will be going to the house...errr.... club rooms restoration fund, a worthy cause as we will all agree. (And that damp patch on the bathroom floor is not going to go away on its own.)

boxy as regards the ever growing zoo, it's usually me doing the feeding etc, the gardener does collect the necessary for the rose garden. I did get a new tweeny maid, bbut she was allergic to camel hair.

Good evening everyone, I hope you are all well, I am a little late but better never than late I think someone said. My contribution to the summer fete is a bottle of my neighbour Mr Crumpet-Belcher's pumpkin wine, his parsnip and dandelion wine is still in the vat but I will bring that next week when we have got enough bottles from the bottle bank. I have also brought a roll of double-sided tape and a tin of Brazilian bronze emulsion paint. The tailcocks and nibbles look exceptionally good this evening, I think the Sanatagen spritzer will go well with those nibbles.
