The Club is now open.

The Committee reminds all members that the summer fete is fast approaching.

As this is usually accompanied by a break in the weather, members are advised to stock up on rainmates , mackintoshes, welly boots and gamps.

Donations of bric-a-brac, cake and candy etc may be left in the upper lesser drawing room for sorting by the members of the fete sub-committee.
Applications for membership of the fete sub-committee are currently being vetted.

Please give generously. This year's profits will be going to the house...errr.... club rooms restoration fund, a worthy cause as we will all agree. (And that damp patch on the bathroom floor is not going to go away on its own.)

Can someone fetch the wheelbarrow and it will be easier to get him home.

We really must look at the locks on the cellar....
I dont think my head reaches that far matron feeling a bit better though need a rather large tailcock I think
Question Author
Thank goodness you're OK alexanderd. Do sit down and have a stiff one.

We've managed to get lordalex back into the cellar with extra strength double meds , handcuffed him to teh bed and locked the door.

Interestingly he hadn't broken out...the door was unlocked! He must have a friend. Or did someone just forget?
Here's the barrow Milady,

Alex an extra large drink and an apology from me.
Question Author
Thanks Mamya. You are a treasure.

I think we all need to sit down and have large drinks.
Oh dear a crisis, you don't think it was that pet chimp of his that got him out do you? His lordship always liked his animals. Here have another tailcock alexandered, poor mamya doesn't usually go hypo with the hypo in emergencies. I hope she doesn't give up playing for the AB Tavern ladies darts team, one of our best players.
Apology accepted Matron I think I will just have a relax in the lounge for a few minutes to clear the fuzziness. Is that askyourgran there my eyes are still crossed from the injection
Hello just passing, very busy. Has there been a Lord Alex emergency? Must dash again, paces to go, people to see, you crawl under people's houses and you hear things. Please have a stiff one ready if I returnxx
Hello/goodbye MissMeg yes we did have a spot of bother but all seems to have quietened down although I have trouble sitting down at the moment
Does miss meg need meds too, or has she had too many?
Question Author
Well, sounds as though peace has been restored.

I hadn't thought that one of the animals might have let lordalex out........darned clever those camels, mind.
I think I'll be heading bed-wards soon. This excitement has left me plumb tuckered out!
feeling too woozy to stay up late tonight so if you will all excuse me I will depart. Ta very much for the laughs and I hope to see you all again next week
Question Author

Night Milady and Alex too, I think you will find you have a very pleasant nights sleep.
Back now, poor Alex, sorry I was not about to help with "the incident", these things are sent to try us. Please could I have a large tailcock mamya, I am in need!!
Indeed miss meg, here you go
Very eventful indeed and have discovered my aim was awry as the syringe was bent, must stop catching them in the med cupboard doors.
Thank you mamya, very much appreciated, trust me to miss out on all the activity!!
I must say it's been a pleasant evening apart from the "incident", I hope poor alexandered will be alright. I'll finish off this tailcock and then make my way home, I've a bit of crochet to finish, and then I've to start and knit things for the fete. I've polished my galoshes ready for the day.

Goodnight mamya and miss meg and anyone else still lurking in the shrubbery. see you next week. ♥♥
Night Gran , yes it's been fun and the dust will setle.

Take care now ♥
