Johnson intends to create a large number of peers before he goes He has already appointed 86 peers bringing the number of members up to 800 in total,and he wants more. Amongst the peerages he is dishing out like confetti is to his former boss at the Daily Telegraph Evgeny Lebedev Russian born Businessman and son of a former KGB officer. He also wants to give a peerage to his brother Jo johnson . No doubt Stanley Johnson and Rachel Johnson will be waiting in the wings.

Would any of this become moot if he’s found to have misled Parliament?
Surely they can’t allow him to make such appointments until he’s either cleared of wrongdoing or(as expected) found to have lied to the HoC?
