Prince Andrew's advisers thought "that interview" went very well

Says it all, really.

I thought it went disastrously, but that's just my humble opinion of course. The experts know best no doubt (ha ha ha ha ha ha ha).

It was a disastrous interview. The trouble is Andrew is supremely arrogant and, unfortunately for him, he’s pretty thick, so it was never going to end well. The trouble with extremely arrogant people is that they don’t know when they’re digging themselves a hole, because they simply cannot countenance they they’re wrong.

I'd have thought Andrew's team would have brought a good barrister into any pre interview discussions. He/she could have looked at likely tricky questions and tried to formulate satisfactory answers. Then gave an opinion as to whether the interview would do more harm than good.
It was a disastrous interview.

They must have been watching a different interview. I don’t think he’s intelligent enough to seek proper advice - and probably far too arrogant. I read that he discussed doing the interview with his daughter, Beatrice. Result: an absolute car crash - but no surprise. I don’t think she’s the sharpest either.
he lied throughout - end of!
Everyone says he is really thick.
He flew helicopters so must have some talent somewhere.
But not really prepared for modern life or a career in the media glare.
he had this nebulous job as a sort of trade envoy and I'm told he was very good at it - he has his mother's ability to remember names and faces and jobs and get people together to their mutual advantage.
dunno what they were watching, it was a total car crash from where I was standing. He just came across as a squirming nonce. All that BS about sweating just made him look like a moron, how dopey do you think the public are? Put him in a sauna he'd sweat, end of.
None of this is news
it occurred 2019 - I was deceived into thinking the ickle prince has done it again ( another interview)
more of the same -we knew he thought he had done quite well. He even wondered if his tormentor wanted to be shown around the palace

I think he told his advisers 'I didnt do narfin'' and they said 'go in and say' - - - so he did,not really having worked out - - "I dont sweat" and "that was when my children were eating cake"
and omitting to discuss his more obvious and true rebuttals
He just came across as a squirming nonce.
oh yeah and you know a lot do you?

and how exactly does a NONCE squirm ?

and get people together to their mutual advantage.
-- to jig-a-jig to all their advantage

Sorry Peter if an article published Sat, 2 July 2022, 10:26 am is too dated for you.
pp----you should not be calling him a 'NONCE'. That's a foul insult.
Hey - OK Bub hope joke

I apologise for calling TTT a passing nonce
he didnt ( pass ) - ter daaah ( rats throwing themselves onto the traps, they arent)
short of copy
recycled interview
andres, it wasn't PP who used the word.
I think it illustrates perfectly the disastrous gulf we have between sections of society. Prince A and his advisors thought it went well - it would have, if their understanding of the real world had not been limited to the one they inhabit.
Similar gulfs are now visible in many areas of society i.m.o.and I am very alarmed and pessimistic of the results of this dreadful splintering of any sort of societal cohesion.
Hope that reads OK, It's late & I'm off to bed.
It's the arrogance that comes from living in a bubble where all anyone does is tug their forelock and tell you how great you are.
He obviously thought he'd sort all this nonsense out with a quick interview and make it all go away.
The purpose of the interview was for Andrew to get out his denials. But the whole thing was cringe worthy and his advisers did not instruct him properly.
[email protected] were right . Sorry pp.
