Please give Clive Myrie half an hour on one of your digital platforms so he can anchor a sob-fest with close-ups of distressed health workers being close-upped to tears and leave the six o'clock news for news.
That item was like watching the worst of American reality guff.
Shameless.

Answer NHS senior admin - 'yes... I think so' and then about the vaccinations being 'off peak', 'yes, we have to allow the supplies to come through but we did vaccinate over 220k people today.'
Just a balanced view allowed to be expressed.

//Sadly my friend, this IS the news//
No it isn’t. As I’ve said more than once on here, for the last nine months the BBC news has been simply a government propaganda programme designed to scare the population witless. Night after night there are scenes of intensive care units manipulating patients connected to machinery. Tonight there was even a scene inside a mortuary. This is not news. News is how many people have contracted the disease, how many have died, how many vaccinations have been administered and (which you never hear) how many people have recovered.
ICUs have no right to allow film crews into their premises. Hospitals are about the worst places for contracting the virus and to have film crews roaming around from place to place is simply madness and is irresponsible.
//do you think it wrong to report that NHS workers are suffering from overload//
Day after day, most certainly yes. Make a documentary about it if you want, but it’s not news. It’s obvious that health workers are under the cosh; we don’t need to be constantly told. It is now becoming counter- productive. I simply record the news now and fast forward all this guff. I doubt I’m alone.

Nailit your lucky but not alone. So far most of is have been lucky as less than 10 million have had covid in UK but its growing by 50000 a day. So far 'only' 90000 have been unlucky to die but there not here to tell there anecdotes on Answerbank. They only needed to be unlucky once. At your age like me your vunerable. Take care. stay safe

This is the real life, get used to it. If you are that much against the BBC why do you watch it ?? I have 4 friends who have Covid - one is retired Fireman like me and works as a Healthcare Assistant, the other is a hospital secretary. The other two are , luckily, getting over it. They have seen first hand what it's like.

It is gratifying to note that others are now beginning to take note of the skewed agenda and marxist content. Did you also know that by far the most complaints against the propaganda generators were complaints about bias against the SNP and Nicola Sturgeon than any other issue in the period from November 23 to December 6, 2020? Just saying.
bonninwales - 'silly argument'? Are you for real? My friend's Mum did die in a care home, but not from covid, yet this was put on her death certificate. Mind you, the day I listen to anything that comes from your doom and gloom laden mouth is the day I pack it in - seriously. I wonder what on earth you will moan about when all this is over??? My opinion is vastly different to yours, but that does not make YOU right!
//What about those who believe it's all a big hoax?
What about those who believe it's okay to ignore the guidance and the legislation?//
Do you really think that showing those people footage of people in ICUs will change the behaviour of such people, Corby?
//It appears they do need to be reminded about the facts on a daily basis.//
So more propaganda than news then?
Showing viewers near enough the same stuff night after night serves no purpose whatsoever. Once they've seen it a couple of times they do what I do, either don't watch it at all or skim through it.
