What on earth have Nazis got to do with this thread?
Calicogirl, what defence?
Pixie, //the majority of Remainers, who still want to live in an honest, democratic country.//

I see no evidence that the majority of Remainers do want to live in an honest democratic country. How speaking the words ‘principle’ and 'integrity' doesn't choke them is a mystery to me.
I like to believe most people do have some integrity, even if everything doesn't always go their way. I'm not sure posts on AB are necessarily representative, there are Remainers, I'm sure who are not trying to twist and turn.

To be fir Naomi I do know a fair few remainers, including young peope, who do want to respect the decision and democracy.

I do believe it is the usual NWO Metropolitan Global elitists (Of which May is one) stirring up most of the trouble and, as we know, they are a minority.
I do believe he may well be the new messiah the brexiteers need .
Fingers crossed then x

/// No we said there is no way we can leave Europe without it tearing the country apart ///

Good job the likes of you were not around in 1940.
If you had perhaps you would have said "There is no way we can stand alone against the might of Nazi Europe, without tearing our country apart".
go The Nige !

/// When a General Election is called ( which it will be soon) do you seriously think they won't field candidates and split the Tory vote? ///

Don't you think that it will split the Labour vote also, seeing that a large proportion of Labour voters, especially in the North, voted in the referendum to leave the EU?
That’s it, nazi/hitler mentioned in debate . It’s all over now .

AOG, Cal old girl , was a 5 y o just in case you wondering.

The returning troops from Ramsgate to London apray Dunkirk, were a rabble and were chucking their arms out of the train windows ( capital offence by the way) and saying - "they'll be here in a few days!"

Retro has cruelly and spitefully said in another thread to me
'I suppose Daddy told you that ...'
er no - by that time Daddy was 'in the bag' and was in Eichstatt I think.
28 May 1940 - so I learnt later
( obviously not front page of the Times stuff)
o god if we are to have another hundred random comments about Brexit,
I will muse about my fathers escape from POW camp on the night of Barbarossa ( 28 June 1941)
at least you wont have heard it All Before
( walked across germany - swum the Kiel Canal during an air raid ( black out) and was recaptured on the Danish border half way up the Jutland peninsula)

/// He's caused an awful lot of the hate and discontent that seems to be prevalent in the country right now. ///

It is not Nigel who has caused 'an awful lot of the hate and discontent', he fought to give the majority of the British public what they wanted.
It is the remainers who have caused all this hate and discontent, by not being prepared to accept the majority's wishes gracefully.

Lord Haw Haw, Germany calling, Germany calling.
I fully accept the outcome of the vote but that doesn't stop me from disagreeing with it.
What I don't accept is being called a traitor ,a quisling or all the other vile names bandied about on here just because I have a different view.
Democracy means doing the right thing and not trashing the country by crashing out without a deal and the chaos that would ensue so that these disaster capitalists,of which Farage is one , can make a killing out of it.
Brexit will make people like him very rich but a whole lot of other people considerably poorer.
Shaney, you cannot accept something and at the same time disagree with it.
I think you can, Danny. You can respect another view, without necessarily agreeing with it. I would have been disappointed if leave had lost, but would have been shocked if we had ignored it and left anyway.
Yes I can Danny. You can accept anything but it doesn't mean you have to like it.I'm disabled.I don't like it but I have to accept it.
