that works too danny
jim, I'll use what terms I feel are correct as others do on here.
Reading through this thread manners are at a premium elsewhere....but we won't mention that.
I think it's ride in a sensible debate ( whether this could be considered to be one is anyone's guess frankly) to use silly made up acronyms that most people will not understand because it's a silly made up acronym.
That being said I don't consider myself a traitor to my country at all, I consider myself actually very patriotic and concerned that what is best for the country as a whole happens. If that goes as far as ignoring an advisory referendum taken 3 years ago before it became apparent that this government cannot deliver what it promised to without massive damage then so be it. I'm not about to apologise for that ( or accept being called silly things like 'traitor', 'treasonous', 'VB' 'Democracy hater').
It's absolutely absurd that now it's obvious that what Remainers said all along is happening, we should have to tolerate such nonsense.
*rude*
I think a reference to 'Nigel Fromage's militant delusionals' is rather rude.
- and do you seriously think that Farage and his cult of personality is actually going to achieve anything (other than help us out and split the vote on anything that is)?
//it's obvious that what Remainers said all along is happening//

What's that? That democracy would be overridden? Yes, it is happening. Remainers have made sure of that.
Calico, He is talking about the EU election (which may not concern us)
No we said there is no way we can leave Europe without it tearing the country apart and guess what?
Yes I'm aware of that Danny, but his personal vanity really won't stop there x
Calicogirl, //do you seriously think that Farage and his cult of personality is actually going to achieve anything //

Don’t know. I’d like to see it though.

//(other than help us out and split the vote on anything that is)?//

Help you out and split the vote? There’s integrity for you. “Honest Joe they calls me. Wanna buy a dodgy watch?”
Calico, how would split the vote in the EU election help you?
Calicogirl, //we said there is no way we can leave Europe without it tearing the country apart and guess what?//

I don't need to guess. I know. The Remainers determination not to leave Europe is tearing the country apart.
Oh I'm sorry of course it's Remainers fault that Farage will behave like this, of course it is, I should have known. It wouldn't be their own faults because they have bickered back and forth, power wrangling and back biting all the while they were supposed to be sorting out how we leave ( because you know, it was SO important to them. Rule Britannia).
What on earth are you talking about? I know Farage scares Remainers, but do try to maintain a grip on the gist of the conversation.
Right okay, if it's got to the 'get a grip' stage of debate I'm offski and I'll leave you to chat amongst yourselves. It's perfectly obvious what I'm 'on about'.
Calico, have you an answer to my post at 12.29?
Calicogirl - it's clear that most of the contributors to this site are not of the same persuasion as you and I. Shame there are so many short-sighted people.
It wouldn't I wasn't referring to EU election specifically Danny, I was referring to Farage and his cronies setting themselves up as some sort of Messiahs for the disaffected Leave Vote.
When a General Election is called ( which it will be soon) do you seriously think they won't field candidates and split the Tory vote? It's like Christmas frankly.Carry on, please I couldn't be happier.
Now all we have to do is remove Corbyn and install Keir Starmer :) lol
