The queen used the local shops, mostly to buy sweets for the little ones I believe. Mum was in the local shop to Balmoral, she held the door open for an elderly lady and thought she looks familiar,
the royals are often seen in and around the village...Anne and Charles as kids used to go to sweetie shop in Edinburgh's Royal Mile..and several of the family can still be spotted wandering up the mile at times
hope he is ok..but doubt he will be allowed behind a wheel again..

He was lucky to escape physically uninjured, but a person of such great age will not ( be his normal self)as quickly as we may think imo.
