Trump I see has apologised to the prime minister for his comments in the Sun interview. Good for him but it just shows what an irresponsible and loose cannon he is. You somehow feel the world is not safe as long he is in the White House

For - and against the protests as they inconvenience the rest of London etc and are pointless as they wont get anywhere near him or change his mind one little bit. He is the legally elected representative of his country, and while some people may dislike him personally, he is here representing them.

It's probably also worth mentioning that Trump was photographed at an IRA fundraiser shaking hands with Gerry Adams months before that group attacked London.

Corbyn is frequently - and rightly, imo - attacked for his IRA connections and meetings at the time, but I've never seen this mentioned on AB. It seems that the site is just host to an unusually large collection of diehard Trump loyalists who will just excuse anything he says he or does for some reason :/.

Krom, you’re scraping the barrel – but why not? Where Trump’s concerned it’s de rigueur. That was in 1995 – over 20 years ago - when the wealthy American Irish were renowned for funding the IRA and long before Trump entered politics. Many a sparkling black tie do in the upper echelons of the New York/LA social scene in those days. Doubtless if you go back far enough you’ll find his school reports – bound to be something there for you to get your teeth into.

On the other hand, Corbyn’s connections SINCE he entered politics.....
