odds on if you complained to the parents you would have got a mouthful of abuse...should have stuck him with the luggage!
Hence the need for child psychology
More likely the parents need psychiatric assessment.
Or parenting lessons....deffo hearing test ...lol
3 is a bit young to be diagnosed. Especially by people posting on AB.
I know of younger !
Ummmm PMSL .
ummmm - the article implies there was a medical problem:

The young boy has a disability, which has not been specified, that affects his behavior a source told DailyMail.com
Diagnosed with what?

The kid was making noise, it wasn't exactly a tantrum. The parents should have been distracting him.
My friend’s boy has been diagnosed with a condition, but not by any recognised medical professional. She paid someone privately £2000 to produce a report which, unsurprisingly, agreed with her own unqualified diagnosis. Bad parenting should be the first port of call in any investigation – not conveniently sticking labels on children.
The real issue was the mother's lack of control and apparent disinterest...
oh god, i have a first flight with my five year old coming up in april - i am dreading it1
Bednobs...take plenty of activity stuff..drawing books...any wee games he plays that are hand held...treats...iPad or tablet for cartoons or favourite progs...download stuff now...how long a flight ?
Bednobs, you'll be fine. I flew with mine aged 2 and 4. Besides my older one inflating the life jacket they were good as gold.
Could have been because of his ears? I have a perforated eardrum and flying is the most painful thing as I cant equalise the pressure in my ears!

Poor kid, maybe he's autistic, or frightened.

it's 4 hours. I am not a good flyer myself and need all that just for me :0)
Can they not could strap in and sedate in this situation? Gawd if I was on the staff I'd slip him a micky fin in a drink an knock the little ^&*% out.
Bednobs - I made sure mine were hungry and brought snacks on with me. That keeps them happy.
