The voting papers have to be sent out to their registered address; if they are away on business/holiday they need to be given time to receive and return them.

Its something they should be able to streamline for the future as its too slow but its not right to change longstanding timescales at short notice. But its a matter for the Tory members not for us, just as wouldnt expect Labour to suddenly change its voting rules due to outside pressure or social media comments

Well, looks like Rishi is maybe going one peg down and Truss moved across from the Lib Dems so it’s a conundrum for the party as they cross swords?
