Sunday. The sky is clear and the moon and stars are shining. Makes a nice change! :o}

Ireland did the job and are the Six Nations Champions! Much celebrating was undertaken. :o}

Have a happy day everyone.

Pleased for O'Dricoll to go out like that, saw both halfs back to front cos we have a three hour delay here as well as Live! Nicolas Mas got a sore one with that elbow

Scotland hit the self destruct again.... I hope Vern Cotter has something special up his sleeves.

Cold one here this morning, zero at the moment... not back for the tail end of summer!!

Morning slappy. My heart sank when I saw Steve Walsh was reffing. But I have to say it's the best I've ever seen him perform! Someone must have had a word methinks. He missed the error in the try against the post that the commentators picked up, but it was difficult to see.

Brian O'Driscoll went out the way he wanted to. A well deserved Mam of The Match medal too. He will be sorely missed. The best player ever in my opinion.

You haven't had much summer there mate. Not long 'til your back here though now is it. :o}
I like Walsh... he seems to be on the ball, I noticecd Barnes on the line. It was Szvarzevski dropped it against the post so technically a knock on but difficult to see in that melee of players.

less than 9 days left here so 10 days till I'm home. Didn't think I'd ever expect to miss this place but I'm gonna miss it all right
Question Author
You're right re the non try. I remember Steve Walsh from the World Cup in Australia when he so blatantly put Ireland and a few other Northern Hemisphere teams out. But that's long gone and it's good to seed him reffing now to a high standard. I'm glad Barnes wasn't the ref!

Are you not returning to pingwing land then?

Not likely, my grade no longer has a role here so unless something changes I'l not be back but I'll never say never, I'd happily spend long periods of time here
Question Author
The place gets you like that doesn't it. :o} I don't know what it is about it, but it has an almost ethereal charm all it's own. i would like to see it again, but it is very different to when I was there.
You're right there's just something dragging you back. It's different but the same if you know what I mean, it still, just, has that olde world charm but Isuspect that'll change when Oil get here in a few years time.....it'll be a different place and I doubt that it'll be for the better
Question Author
I agree. It's unique beauty will be gone for ever. I suspect the tranquility I remember went when the Argies made the biggest mistake in their history.

If I ever win big time on the lottery and have my big boat I will have a look! :o} Dream on!
That's in the grand scheme of things somewhere as well... That 107 Mill would have pulled a world cruise...as long as it calls in here!!
Goodly morning guys xx

And goodly morning to everyone else who pops in x

I'm still asleep so dunno why I'm here :-)
Question Author
Morning albs. xxx I never wake up until lunch time. It makes for a long day else. :o}

slappy that 107 mill would have got me my boat with plenty to spare. I'd go where I want, when I want, for as long as I want. Paradise! :o}
Morning flower xx

So are you typing in a kind of out of body way????????
I'm about but we have had another major comms fault this morning so everything a bit vague and i'm running about like a blue ersed fly...there may be some gaps in my posts!!
Question Author
Thanks for that mate. It's nice to know these things. :o}
I'm typing this in an out of beddy way, more than out of body :-D

Doing a roast chook later on for dinner tonight, how many extra places shall I set?
Blue arsed flies are on the endangered species list y'know.

As are wide-mouthed frogs.
Question Author
I'm in please! :o}
Question Author
arf arf arf. They are on here anyway! :o}
Question Author
The sun is about to rise into a clear sky. I haven't been able to say that for a while! :o}
It's pitch black here, and quite chilly.
Yesterday was a tad damp, oh for a dry day to get the washing out on the line.
