I have just started 'The Godfather'. I have never seen the films so I decided to read the book first. I haven't read anything for a while. I tend to read lots and lots and then read nothing for months!
just finished the Harry Potter saga again, before that Going postal by Terry Pratchett, now reading The Sunday philosophy Club...Can you tell I'm having a stressful time at work at present??
Just finished Jasper Fforde's "Something Rotten", reading Muriel Gray's "Trickster" while waiting for Bol to deliver Clive Barker's 2nd "Arabat" book, and - much more importantly - the latest "Merrily Watkins" from Phil Rickman.
I've just finished an autobiography about a security guard for rock bands - must have made an impact, I can't remember hisname. I am part way through three books in rotation - biographies of Metallica and Phil Spector, and 'The Other Boleyn Girl' by Philippa Gregory. It was dramatised a couple of weeks ago on TV, and my wife, who is a big history fan, has the book, so I've started to read that as well.
I'm not in the middle of anything at the moment, but one of my political colleagues has recently given me a copy of "New Democracy" by Mao Tse-Tung, so I'll probably start that in a few days' time.
