Lol @ craft. My brother lost a ring, same as you MrsM. It turned up in some bedding he was sorting out to give to his student granddaughter many years later.

I once lost my driving licence after we moved house.

Ages later I found it inside a backgammon set - a very sensible and secure place to store it really.

my brother lost a gold ring, it turned up years later when the freezer was de frosted.

A friend of mine just found his old guitar - in a music shop! He sold it years ago to pay the rent and it ended up in a storeroom of said shop for years. They only brought it out a couple of weeks ago and he happened to be in looking for a second hand guitar when he saw it and quickly snapped it up.

I found a ring my late husband bought for our daughter in the garden about a month after he died - it had been missing over 12 months! Spooky!!
