Lost and found

Hi , have you ever lost something for ages and almost given up on finding it , and then come across it in a very silly weird place ? My step-father bought some xmas tags weeks ago and couldn't find them anywhere until today . He just rang me to tell me he's found them .....in the fridge ! xxxxxx

I once bought some doughnuts from Somerfield and found them 3 months later in the boot of my car ,under an umbrella!

I lost a gold Greek key bracelet two years ago that hubbie bought for me on honeymoon.
I had great sentimental value to me, and my colleague found it a few months ago in our filing cabinet at work. Shows how often the cabinet is cleaned out.

Oh yes, I'm a beggar for putting things somewhere safe then not being able to find them again.

It might sound wierd but I read some time ago about asking the archangels if you lose something to help you find it again and I'd had some lovely surprising results.

When I was in New York the first day we had dinner in Time Square then back to the hotel. I couldn't find my house keys anywhere and was panicking, rang the restaurant, checked with the hotel etc... to no avail.

Got some disparaging looks from the ex and decided I wasn't going to let it ruin my holiday as he had keys to get back in the flat.

Next morning we went to the Empire State Building. I went through security first and was sortingmy stuff the other side when my ex's box came through and, sat on top of his stuff, were my house keys!!!

Not very coincidental as the idiot must have picked them up and had them in his pocket the whole time but quite spooky at the time!

hi mamma (and everyone) my mum does that all the time, she once re-visited every shop trying to find her purse and it was in the fridge

and during a house move when we were little they couldnt find the centre leg of the big double bed anyplace, next morning it was in the cornflake box lol

I couldn't find my landline cordless phone, I eventually found it in my cutlery drawer. I have no idea why I put it there lol

I lost a pair of spectacles years ago, claimed the insurance then about 5 years later, I got up out of bed and they were on the dressing table, I asked my husband about them and he said he found them lying in the middle of the floor,. It remains a mystery.........

it is odd how you can loose things then find them!
On monday we did the weekly shop, got home took the shopping in and found a bag was missing, i thought i had left it behind!
We had to clean the car out friday night as we were taking my bro in law to the bike show with us, and what did we find? the missing bag of shopping, the golf clubs must have been hungry.
Creepiest thing was just before my mum died we went to a local beach with freinds, mum had a bottle of coke, when she ahd finished she filled it with gravel and sand and threw it into the sea (so ungreen) but the night before her funeral we were walking on a near by beach and found the very same bottle poking out of the shingle!
Currently missing is a cable for the external hardrive and i cannot do any art with out it cos my photos are on there!
