Fair enough then clanad (apologiesfor misspelling earlier), it's just seeing what trawling for shell fish does to the seabed makes me really angry.

... Which reminds me, one of the best dishes at DiMillo's on the Water in Portland, Maine (a floating, former ferry boat in Portland's harbor) is their 1 pound lobster stuffed with locally caught crab and another 1 pound lobster on the side... all for about $15.00 (US)...

The lobster season, type of gear and catch poundage are highly regulated here, humbersloop... You boat would be highly admired there, by the way...

We have friends in East Yorkshire who fish traditionally - long lines and potting - the industrial methods are as bad as factory farming imo.

Just a great big thanks for your advise! Cooked Lobster for the very first time, caught at 5.30 am Saturday morning. Have to say it was simple to cook and tasted absolutely delicious! Many thanks to you all :) x
