I am so disappointed. Only the "rest" of my post is twaddle. Yet I tried so hard to make it ALL twaddle. I think I'm due a refund from my private twaddle tutor.
I have just noticed the post enquiring whether MarkRae is a famous cook. Indeed he is - other Abers, more knowledgeable than me, have testified to his prowess in the salad sphere.
I believe that lobster can only be caught and eaten at a certain weightage and in Wales we visited a Lobster farm that is working hard to put lobsters back in british water.
Lol I could not remember how to spell the posh garlic mayo!!
I love lobster - but hate the UK price (in restaurants at least).
I did have a trip to New England where (after about ten days) I was at last heard to say "I'm bored with lobster, can we have something else tonight" - but was back in a shack on the dock the next night ... nothing better.
The lobster glut in New England is typically cyclical... and these cheap ones are the soft shell variety, which are also typically less expensive since they have less meat. But, good news, nonetheless.
We visit Maine (especially Bar Harbor) as often as possible... not just for the lobster though (or in down-east Maine speak, 'lobstah')...
