Boris wants everyone to forget about his duplicity and lies under partygate – fat chance.

The 148 MPs who voted for him to resign did so because they know that with Boris as PM, come the next general election they will be out of a job.

With a salary of £80k plus expenses such that any MP worth their salt can easily double that amount – anything that threatens their snouts in the trough must be illuminated, including Boris.
They cannot afford not to continue their campaign to topple Boris for the sake of their job.

Votes of confidence happens to many PMs and Boris is just carrying on with his job of running the country in these strange times. He is the best person at the moment and i expect he will have some new plans to help the country.
spicerack: "I see they all piled into you like Antifa yesterday, TTT.
Are you OK now? " - I was ok then. Water off a ducks back, I have been calm throughout unlike the bile spitters. The difference is I'll back what I am saying, they don't even believe their own rhetoric. It'd take more than these popinjays have me old china but thanks for your concern.
It's to your credit Tora, what with your high-powered job and second-hand vehicle sales on the side that you manage to come on here and keep us all right.

BTW you've dribbled egg onto your vest.
I can't understand what they're mad about. I don't think they're very bright, you know.
Can't be the lockdowns. The day they were introduced, they were like 'Too little too late Boris, you ***' and 'should have happened months ago, tory scum'.
I can understand the Conservatives being angry.

^^^^ see what I mean?
they are just itching for his job - lets face it they will all
make a mess of it.
Can you point out a PM in the history of the British government
or any other government that , that has not been put through the
mill and has made everyone happy. ????
:-)

I can point you to many who have not broken their own laws, alienated their party and public alike beyond belief nor been under so much media and parliamentary scrutiny for scurrilous behaviour and misleading parliament.
Just type ‘List of British Prime Ministers’ into Google, then stop before you get to Boris Johnson.
Boris Wants To Draw A Line Under Partygate

just like Blanche wanted to draw a line under her lack of appetite

Baby Jane: if ya didnt eat ya dindins, you dont get ya tea
Blanche: but I did try Baby Jane, I did try !
Baby Jane - but cha didnt Blanche, didja !

a law maker should not be a law breaker
which bit of that defeats you?
// I can't understand what they're mad about. I don't think they're very bright, you know.//
oh,
a prime minister that lies and goes on lying
a prime minister who breaks the law andsays he hasnt

and vacouos stupid people insisting: 'he didnt! he didnt!'
I am surprised at how many people think that lying is unimportant. It's something we don't tolerate in our family, neither will we tolerate it from a Prime Minister.
no one thinks it's unimportant, it's just that most of what are claimed to be lies are not.

Impossible to say when most of the public and over 40% of your own MP’s no longer believe a word that comes out of your mouth.
Even you must see that as a problem, don’t you?
surely it's OUR MPs, as you claim to be a Tory back bencher.
FatticusInch claims to be a Tory backbencher? Really? He can't be getting a lot of work done.

//surely it's OUR MPs, as you claim to be a Tory back bencher.//

But from what you’ve said they are by definition 5C poltroons and thus have no business passing judgement on their PM, so which are they?
I said I have the mindset of a Tory backbencher but then you’ll believe anything you want in your paranoia.
You even checked on my Paddypower bet of 148/1 but missed the irony in the joke.
So no, you clearly don’t see that the public and over 40% of his MP’s seen him a liar?

Too busy deciding who to vote for in the impending leadership race, darling!

In response to ToraToraTora labelling anyone with an opposing view and mindset to Johnson as being a 5C lefty scum I’ll similarly label those who deny that the Johnson ship is fatally holed with a collective name.
Johnson fanboys and fangirls with their heads in the sand shall henceforth be known as Borstriches.
They’re working in tandem again this morning.
//….Borstriches…//

Absolutely braw
It all depends on your own interpretation of the word party.
