I do it without even leaving my home. The doctor visits after dark and the donation is made. No fuss, but must admit to being a tad trance-like afterward. I can highly recommend his services. Contact your local blood donation centre and ask for Dr A Cula.
For anyone thinking about doing so, but not got round to it, have a look at the website and book online. Its really easy to change the date and time if you need to, and when you go along it is a friendly and supportive experience, topped off by tea and biscuits!
