Even if you ignore the potential for heavy-metal poisoning, Basa is disgusting - utterly tasteless with a mushy consistency (however you cook it) - it exists solely as a vehicle for whatever sauce you use to disguise the (lack of) flavour.
We're having a Roast Free Range Chuck with all the usual accompaniments - and a bottle of Herr Lidl's excellent Western Cape Shiraz - a serious bargain (it's the one with the elephants on the label).
I was contemplating pork belly - but too slow a cook for a Friday evening and am out and about.....so a plate of thick-cut pork chop is a compromise - a braised chicory with it as well and perhaps some mush (both normal and 'exotic').
@12.38 Everyone to their own taste sunny. farming fish is turning out to be a lot safer than ocean caught fish. First off, should they allow any sort of contamination to find its way onto the farm, their done for.
Its a proven fact now that our sea fish are consuming micro plastics.
@ 13.15 lets but hope, but time is a big factor before fish stocks disappear. But we all really know what the real answer is, and it don't look as that is going to happen any time soon.
