Moderate Muslims

Are the 'moderate' muslims in the UK aware that they will be crushed and treated as apostates if their dream of an islamic UK state were ever to become a reality?
In my opinion, islam is very much like communism. The standard bearers of both like to espouse the virtues of their particular political / religious ideology, knowing full well that many people will be slaughtered as a result. The ones doing the espousing always justify their belief by convincing themselves that they will be the ones who make up the ruling elite of such an ideology. It never seems to occur to these zealots and bigots that they will be eaten by their own.
Do the westernised, moderate muslims truly think that they will be spared the wrath of political islam?

Actually, I'm finding the whole subject of female puberty quite fascinating; e.g. nobody knows why the Bard put Juliet aged 13 when she married Romeo - it could be a mistake, it certainly wasn't the norm at that time.
It also seems that there is a link between female puberty and nutrition and if the norm in the middle ages in Europe was 14+, It can't have been any lower on the Arab peninsular.

Khandro - I did read that link and once again that link also says each and everything what I have said here over the years. However people have mind of their own and its not my job not in my hand to change their mentality. One thing is sure as it has been mentioned in that link too that a lots of people's mind is stuck on the fictional stories written during Crusades. Karen Armstrong also says the same in her book Muhammed (pbuh).

In the article, which keyplus obviously agrees with, it states " she was known for her assertive temperament and mischievous sense of humour". Earlier it states" Taking all known accounts and records of Aisha's age and marriage estimates her age range from 9 to 19."
please explain how they knew trivial details like her mischievous sense of humour but something important like her age at marriage is an estimated 9 to 19. (This was taken from "all known accounts and records", just how many accounts and records are there to choose from?

Bainbrig - “Salaam al'aikum, Keyplus. I fear you are treading a lonely path here, my friend, but I suppose (as long as it doesn't harm your blood pressure too much), then it is a path worth pursuing. Having watched these columns for some time, and read again and again the usual poorly-reasoned arguments from the usual suspects, I tend to turn my back on them...”
Of course you do. What else can you do?
You turn your back on all of those people who rationally and reasonably criticise your religion. It's all you can do. Since you and your ilk have nothing to contribute to a reasonable and rational argument.
Instead, you insert your fingers in your ears and go “la, la, la, la” and hope that we – the rational, coherent, logical people - just disappear.
