Italy improved during the 90's and where knocking on the door. Ok they have only won a couple of games in 10 years but their standard is getting closer, they are no longer getting 60 point drubbings. Don't forget France had a similar progression when the 4 nations become the 5 nations.

haha thanks steve, but seriously it's good for the sport to have more nations excelling at rugby, i'm sure i read or heard about the argentinians joining in and being based in spain........not sure how much truth there is in that tho
