... had a great day up 'til about 1330, took the dogs down the Country Park, brill sunshine, bit breezy but nice.
Mrs B came with us, first time since she came out of Hospital, so feeling better.
She dropped us off at the bottom of the Park then drove around to the top car park to meet us,
all the way up the slope it was getting darker and windier, made it in the dry, but it chased us home, not looking promising for the next few hours atm.

How is it where you are?

Beautiful in the north!
It is fine here in Milton Keynes, only a slight breeze.

Glad Mrs B is feeling better.

Quiet up here now Baldric, cold and dull. But it blew like mad Wed. evening and all night.
I don't think Doris is coming to Scotland.
cold dark wet and horrid got my room ready ?
Supposed to be gale force winds today (north west), but quite calm !

I think you're right there Wolf, did you spot how I avoided the use of coming so the thread would not be derailed by risque remarks?
Maybe more folk would have visited your thread Baldric - advertising that Doris was going to be having a good start to her weekend.
Glad you had a nice day, Balders :-)

Absolutely hammering it down here on the south coast of Sussex.....
Not much wind yet....but due to get some into the evening, clearing early hours.
wind picking up here....
West Yorkshire. A very pleasant day, so far, and it looks as if the evening might be calm and serene, as well. No rain, some sun, nothing to complain about. West Yorkshire is the place to be!
It's been a beautiful spring day here in Dundee. Long may it last.
I think Doris is leaving the Southwest...we've had wind and hammering rain for the past two days. It's only started to brighten up in the last hour or so. Still bitterly cold.

Supposed to be visiting us 'til sometime tomorrow morning, I reckon we'll be staying in tonight.
it's been awful down here, now clearing through - gusts up to 60 and lots of rain on it at times....
I've just come from the beach (Hayling Island) and while there is a strong wind it's still only 32 knots which isn't uncommon on the coast in winter. A heavy sea running though, and blustery rain, so not very pleasant conditions. But as I implied in my Docile Doris thread, nothing nearly as severe as threatened by Met.
I think Aeolus must be following this thread and has read my last entry. The wind is ramping up here, now gusting at 50 knots, and the Met wind warning (gusting up to 60 knots) has been extended to 11:45 tonight.

Batten down the hatches !

The wind has dropped down a bit, still raining steadily so I guess it's a night in front of the Idiot Box with a drink or three,
Cheers!
Aeolus obviously appeased (I sacrificed 3 Iceberg lettuces) - down to 30 knots here now.
enjoy Balders and Canary...we're enjoying a third wine down here as post-celebration, not the bottle but big glasses....
