That isn’t the point I refuted. I am well aware that no baby is born with faith of any description. However, Pixie’s advice to Theland was to ‘work out what changed your mind and why’ - and that is illogical because nothing changed Theland’s mind. He was born into a Christian society and has been immersed in that culture from birth.

No psychologist I have ever heard of has ever suggested that a child is born as a Christian -or of any other religious denomination, but what has been said is that within the human psyche with which one is born, there is drive towards a spirituality, this can be clearly demonstrated in every society's worship of some form of deity since the beginning of humanity.

When confronted with insufficient facts on which to base an informed decision the brain attempts to fill that void with a narrative. It is this void it seems to me that religion attempts to fill. Knowledge and ignorance can be equally powerful in directing human behavior. I have selected the former to be the overriding force in the formation of my world view.

My question to you is - from all the deities worshipped since the beginning of humanity - what makes yours the only one worth following?

Only the bible describes a creation account that makes sense, a creation from above, beyond and outside of the created universe.
All other religions don't stand up to scrutiny, and describe a creation account from within the universe, which is must plain stupid.
Our scientists work hard looking for the answers to the big questions, and so far have come up with zilch!
Yet they have a following that supports a naturalistic material worldview that is underpinning atheism, a stance that requires more faith than believing in God!
Look to some of your own atheistic science gurus, and take the very best of their arguments and try and convince me of the value of an atheist worldview.
