Are there any ABers who believe in the literal truth of the ark story?

Please stop with your prophecies of doom for anyone who doesn't believe as you.
There are over 8 million species on the planet, all created by God you say - no evolution involved so no chance that some evolved later. So .... Noah - allegedly - took two of some and seven of others - which logically equates to rather more animals than a vessel the size of the Ark could contain and support. How do you rationalise your belief?

My father used to ask, were there kangaroos on the Ark?
Did the two of them hop all the way from Australia to the Middle East and hop back home from Mount Ararat forty days later?
Did they swim through Indonesia? Or was the ocean lower until God just created all that extra water for The Flood?
But then how did they get back to Australia afterwards with a higher sea level? Or did God just magic the water away again?
A kangaroo might manage it given enough time but how did the koalas walk to twenty thousand miles to the middle east even if the could swim?

Not I, but there were certainly floods in biblical times & earlier. With one impending, it would be smart to move your livestock to high ground, if there wasn't any high ground ? - stick 'em on a boat!
These tales are very old & were told over & over again ( no telly you see) and grew in proportion & have been subject of many translations. Somewhere way back in the mists of time, something at the core of this story is based on a true event.
It's a great story though, when I was a child I loved it & made many drawings of it.
