Of course, a statement made like that does sound rather blunt at first, if you don’t believe the Bible, but what do you have in mind when history shows religions.

Then some questions were raised as to the politically neutral position of Jehovah’s witnesses.
Now, Jehovah’s witnesses urge their members to refrain from voting in elections and not showing their allegiance to the flag in some countries. Why is that?

It’s an individual choice on the part of each member on the matter of voting; but we believe that historically, Biblically, we are sound in this position of not being involved in the political scene. So what is what a true Christian trying to achieve similar goals.
A true Christian method is simply different from the political methods.

All things, therefore, that you want men to do to you, you also must likewise do to them”? If professed Christians heeded that command,

Since unlike most other Christians, you don’t believe that Jesus and God are one and the same, I don’t understand why that sentence confuses you.

You know many people put little value on Bible truth. Some are content to follow religious traditions that are based on falsehood.
Others show disregard for truth in their speech and way of life.
Accepting Bible truth comes at a price: It may put you at odds with friends.(John 17:14)

The preaching work today has many purposes: (1) aiding those who hear to gain salvation, (2) giving Jehovah’s servants on earth an opportunity to demonstrate their love and to prove their integrity, (3) preaching a message of warning to all men concerning God’s coming execution of judgment against all wrongdoers, and (4) publicizing and vindicating the great name “Jehovah” God throughout the world.(Mark 13:10)
