Himself had a chance conversation with someone today who has just come back from a holiday at the place we are going to and they said it was excellent! Bit of a relief as there are a few, less than brilliant reviews of it.

Apparently, the fish swim around your feet (won't catch me sticking my feet in the sea) and there are slushies as well as all day ice cream on tap, what's not to like if you are a little person? (Best bit is that it is a term-time holiday, something we always said we would do when we were both teaching.)
In my view, some people just like a moan - especially if it a review site. How often do you feel motivated to write a review if you had a nice time? a lot less than if you had a terrible time so the results are always unrepresentative. Also sometimes the negatives are about something that actually doesn't bother you. i.e. they complain that there are kids and you are taking yours or they complain that the wine wasn't great but you don't drink it etc.
Hi owd, no probs. The place we went to last year had some dodgy reviews and the food was a bit rubbish. This time it's for two weeks so a bit longer to endure if it's really terrible. The person himself spoke to said the worst thing was the flight - got delayed by the passengers who were going to Ibiza to party and were plastered (half of whom were a lot older than you would expect).
