The Club is now Open

Welcome one and all on this cold but no longer snowy evening.

The Committee wish to extend their thanks to all members who so splendidly helped out last week with the digging and de-icing. There are quite a few items in the lost property cupboard, so please have a look there before you go. For example, a string vest, a sheepskin mitt (left hand), half a jar of Vick, seven wooly scarves and a cheese and pickle sandwich. (That is just a small selection, there are many more.)

The Committee are very hopeful that one of our members will be able to give us an improving talk tonight as they are unanimous that we are all in need of improving.

Members are also advised that, due to the prevailing weather conditions, there may be a bit of leakage tonight. Several buckets have been placed in strategic places throughout the building and Members are encouraged to make use of them.

As always, all contributions to the raffle will be much appreciated.
So far, we have:

A pair of string pants
A sheepskin mitt (right hand)
Seven woolly hats.

Milady can you hear a barking sound? I shall fetch a bone from the scullery!
Just as I thought it couldn't get any funnier (thanks all, I've had a great laugh tonight and hope you have had too) I come across this. Hope you have strong stomachs.

Mike how old are you? Why have you got to be in by 10 o'clock? Are you sure your mummy knows where you are, she might be worried about you.

I leave it to your conscience, Mike 1111111111111111

Sometimes I wish I smoked.......
I'm 61, my mummy is long dead, and I have to be in by 10 o'clock, because the parish beadle has said so on behalf of her ladyship. I thought that this thread was a source of daft humour, as no doubt do many others, apart from yourself, who, as usual, jumps in at the wrong end of the thread and totally misunderstands.
I'm off now. Feel a bit iffy & want to get back to my bed. I'll come back in for help if I can't get started. Let me know if I win a raffle prize. See you next week. Byeeeee...
Jumping in at the wrong end is what makes it funny, Mike. (and daft)
Mike I assure you humour is our priority and indeed utter nonsense, a bit of dancing and the occasional song, your input has been as valid as anyone's.
You're not supposed to lose your temper, Mike, whatever anyone says. It is all a joke.
