Doing a Ceili for visiting dancers from England. Will be a mix of Manx,Scottish,Irish Cornish ,Breton and Welsh . Should be fun. I love a good hooli.

Celii....gathering of people for music song and dance. They vary a lot we tend to do lots of dancing but some places they include people doing recitations etc. Variously known as Ceili , Twympath. Fest Noz, .( Similar to Barn Dance ) and we "call " our dances so you learn as you go. Great fun even if you only watch. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/C%C3%A9ilidh

All welcome at the ceili. We did workshop yesterday to teach the more complicated dances and we only had one man down ! Will have a drink when I get home as it's a "dry" ceili. Mind you I am safer without alcohol in me.
