Hi Can anyone help with this problem?

I keep getting a message on comp as follows:

Microsoft Visual C++ runtime library
Runtime error
ProgramC:Programfiles/internet explorer/iexplore.xe

this application has requested the runtime to terminate it in an unusual way.. Please dcontact the application's support team for more info.

Can anyone explain what this means and what i do abt it.

It seems as tho this problem is only occurring when my partner is on facebook doing scrabble. any suggestions please.
