Good evening members new and old, once more I am left in the lurch - I mean in charge as the Aristo's have toddled off to see some prestingdig... er pestergating er Magic Show.
The Aga has been well used today and arrayed on the long buffet table in the short gallery are amongst other things, a beautiful Roast Gammon joint (do carve as you require), some tasty Tandoori Chicken skewers with a Raita dip. All the usual nibbles and Tailcocks are there also.
This week's guest tipple is 'Magic Wand!' a truly amazing concoction and perfect accompaniment to the Gammon.
For the raffle I have;
2 cards of Kirby grips
6 Playing cards (all jokers)
Half a jar of Branston pickle
A dozen Liquorice teabags.
Maj, of course there is something fishy afoot. For goodness sake take your foot out of the moat or there will be something swanny as well. Mamya did you corral the crocodile?
What are you planning on cutting in half ttfn. I have a bread saw knife if that is any good. Or were you thinking of something much bigger. Has lady.a ordered one of those magic caskets to try the sawing someone in half trick? I don't think she will be pleased if you try it before she gets a chance at it. It doesn't always work you know and it is difficult to get blood out of the carpet. She will know what you have been doing and you know what she will say and do! Let me know - I don't want to be anywhere near when the s**t hits the fan.
Star, there is an old blanket chest in the long room - that should do nicely. I will just get my chain saw from the estate car - nobody move, be right back.
