Yes, a blue telephone that tinkled when you turned the dial. Giving away my age lol. Also got a Noah's Ark with animals the same year.

Always loved a post office set!
My favourite was the Dressy doll, where you could pull the hair from the head and it would grow long. Spent ages doing different hair styles. I think it's because I always wanted to be a hair dresser, but it wasn't meant to be...

I can only really remember a Rosebud doll....it's the smell of those dolls I still recall...and a little tin telephone exchange to share with my sister. The chances of us sharing anything was nil... :-)

Lol really Gness? a lot of my friends got the 1 level house but I felt really special for getting the 3 level house even if the lift never worked properly!
Oh and the swimming pool and working shower in brown/orange

I had a black doll called Susie, my mum would fetch her beautiful baby dresses and knit bright pink cardigans and bonnets, she brought the little dresses from the local second hand shop

besides all the normal girly things i got a john bull printing set and one year a picture making set consisting of a piece of glass with a picture of a dutch girl and coloured pieces of shiny paper ,i was so proud of the finished result .
