After years of putting up with that stupid rearview mirror, in my car obstructing my view, I finally plucked up the courage and ripped the darn thing out.
Since that day, I haven't looked back.

Odd how wing mirrors still retained the name when they moved from the vehicle's wing to the doorposts. Doorpost mirror sounds a bit dull I suppose.
