Personally I cannot see anything offensive about these posters, at least they are tame in comparison to some of the images show on TV, both in commercials and pre-watershed programmes.

But this is from a males point of view, do you ladies find them denigrating towards women in any way?

so will you buy their suits then vibes?
Mmmm, I suppose when you put it that way vibra.... 70's retro and all that.... make them mildly more acceptable. I still think a shopping centre is the wrong place for the last ad though - that should be in a lads mag or a sunday NOTW or Mirror or Sport supplement.....
Den ....come to think of it, when I was appointed Consultant, I did indeed have a suit like that and the other Consultants called it my "Bookie´s Suit"....LOL

Of course I wear a blazer now.
The blokes wearing suit? Really?

Its appaling that suit

I remember seeing you with that suit on at the London Hospital back in the 70's, Sqad............

Well you never cease to surprise me, I thought I was reading the views of my maiden aunt. :0)

I wonder if I had posted the opposite view, I would have been bombarded with calls of being a miserable old git, who should go back to the Victorian era etc, etc.

I better stick to the 'pornographic' TV soaps, apparently they are alot less shocking.

"In olden days a glimpse of -------------was something shocking, but now anything goes" Well I thought so, but I was wrong it seems.
LOL Sqad

did you run a book on your colleagues' Mortality Rates?

On the subject of looking up skirts, how many ladies have not yearned to have a look up a Scotsman's kilt?
Me...........
Zeuhl........LOL........the odds of survival were so predictable that they were in the range of 2,000/1 against survival...LOL
Think you're on your own there OldGit ....
I think it's about time and place as much as anything.

Would I find the ads offensive in a man's magazine? Probably not, although i did think the 'looking up the skirt' one was unpleasant, as much for the ecstatic look on the model's face as anuthing which sends out a pretty dubious message to impressionable youths.

But placing them in a shopping centre is really not appropriate - they are unavoidable and although that is their purpose, I think they are pretty tacky - and apart from anything else, if the mesage is that you will attract a desireable woman wearing that dreadful suit, then they are into Trades Descriptions territory!

It's just a bit of fun.

Amazing though, who would have thought 52 answers in 38 minutes, and not a mention of Muslims, they will feel deprived.
Its off Kensington High Street and in congestion charge zone......mostly tourist (american/japanese) shoppers who will be offended; they risk losing business.
Actually, AOG, I'm surprised you don't find these posters distasteful - especially the third one. I don't see it as 'fun' at all. It's just tacky and crude and aimed at the lowest common denominator - 'common' being an understatement.
<<Amazing though, who would have thought 52 answers in 38 minutes, and not a mention of Muslims, they will feel deprived. >>

Nice one Old Git

No muslims, but I think the bloke with the pony tail looks rather dodgy
.
It just shows how jaded and desensitised some of us have become to think that the third advert is in any way acceptable.
Sqad - I thought you were a Dr of some kind? Perhaps peeking up women's skirts is all in a day's work to you but I would hope most men would have a bit of respect.
Just because some children are allowed to watch sexual scenes on TV does not excuse the advertisers. How is a granny going to feel if she is out shopping with her grandsons?
AoG - you do amuse me. Almost as much as AoSqad amuses me.....

Vibra - spot on. Any little boy would be more interested in the props rather than the woman!

<<It just shows how jaded and desensitised some of us have become to think that the third advert is in any way acceptable<<<

Exactly and that is what has made it tolerable in this era.........but how has this come
about?

<<<How is a granny going to feel if she is out shopping with her grandsons?<<<

Probably far more embarrassed than the grandsons.
