Much as I hate Red Ken - surely he shouldn't have been suspended over Nazi Jibe.

Surely by saying that someone is a jobsworth (like the Nazi prison camp wardens) is not offensive to a Jew?

Is anyone offended?

What Livingstone said was highly offensive and insulting, and was deliberately calculated to be so. He should not have been suspended, and what happens to him should be up to the people to decide. As in the case of the Danish cartoons, nobody has the right not to be offended.
Can I still call traffic wardens "Little Hitlers"?
mightyWBA - not if they are jewish!

Now who are the Nazis? Those snivelling little inadequates who squirmed out of the slime to a an unelected position and tried to put themselves above not only the Mayor of London, but the People!

Ken did not offend the Jewish people, but the reporter thought that, in the absence of a real story, he would invent one when Ken quite justifiably lashed out at the good for nothing parasitic newspaper hack.

An Ill- advised comment ...... although he was being door stepped by Finegold, he does have a right to some privacy

An absurd decision full stop.

Bernado, sorry mate but what was said seems to have been deliberately calculated to be offensive and insulting to the muppet of a reporter.

As I refered to before, why should a whole religious or ethnic group feel the need to take mass offence at what one one bloke says to another bloke when the first is being harassed while he goes about his normal business?

And as for the danish cartoons, please don't feel that you can dictate if someone should be offended or not! That sort of intolerance of free thought is what is causing all the trouble in the first place. I for one have nothing but contempt for any human that can go out and stir up unrest that causes the death of another human being. Is any cartoon in Denmark worth the multiple deaths that have occured around the world since their publication.

p.s. has anyone seen the cartoon with jesus and the no more nails?
