The big push towards Kherson has evidently started.
Shelling by Ukrainian artillery all along the front line
Meanwhile, the Kerch bridge won't be repaired until July 2023, says Russia.
They may not need it by then :-)

Considering there are 27 countries ranging from Estonia to Hungary in their degree of enthusiasm for action, it has actually struck me as miraculous that they have presented such a united front. One of the many nasty surprises Putin will have received since February.
Then of course, countries of the EU act individually also.

Elon Musk has supported the radar system of Ukraine £10m a month ( peanuts to a man like him) and has said and then unsaid he wd stop the service unless the pentagon paid
Musk's view was give them Crimea and everyone goes home.....
Cheney ( vice pres) used the Iraq war to enrich himself ( he bombed it and then his company rebuilt it) so why shouldnt Musk

Musk's view of Peace was briskly dismissed by the Yuke German ambassady - Frack off !
and so THEN Musk said - no more radar
and the world said oops
actually the world said, Musk should stick to computers and not try to be a peace-maker ( not in his 'sphere of knowledge')

I shake my head in disbelief that someone plainly as talented and clever as Musk should have tried to legitimise Russia’s genocide in Ukraine however unwittingly - while at the sane time supporting Ukraine with vital comms links. This isn’t a dispute that requires a “solution”. It isn’t even a stalemate ;-)
I suspect Putin flattered his considerable ego by telling him he was the man to rescue him

Nonsense! you are trying to put a spin on Musk's intentions which don't & have never existed.
He has never tried to give any support whatsoever to Putin, he was merely trying to act as a peacemaker and stop this destruction & bloodshed.

Musk doesn't just come up with unhelpful gibberish on the Russian invasion, he's done much the same re China & Taiwan too. One wonders if he hasn't the brain to grasp these situations, perhaps it's more geared to getting things done commercially; or whether there's some personal business advantage in siding with aggressive nations, which would be an indication of his moral standing.
“he was merely trying to act as a peacemaker and stop this destruction & bloodshed.”
No doubt: like I say: “unwittingly”
But it was “back of fag packet” stuff and grossly offensive to the people he was to give him great credit helping.
He followed up the rubbishing of that one with a different suggestion.
Unfortunately it got far more attention than it deserved
