How would you propose to do that?
As I just mentioned elsewhere, a House with an 80-seat Tory majority is not going to vote down the government.
perhaps you'd like to outline the mechanism by which the rules be changed and a GE called.
I'm afraid the time to vote out the tories has been and gone... even at the next election they are not likely to lose with a majority like that... best we can hope for is reducing it.

I think the next chance to actually vote someone else in won't come until 2029 :(
there you go gully put your Bees where your North is:

The Cons can change the rules to their advantage, why shouldn't the public do the same... and get rid of Boris,..... the worst P/M ever.
How?
That was the question?

You don't need to change any rules becasue at the moment there are no rules to change.
If enough people wanted to force a general election then it might happen, but it won't
How and why is this in news when it should be in chatterbank ?

lets wait and see what happens with the North Shropshire By election.
gully: "The Cons can change the rules to their advantage, why shouldn't the public do the same... and get rid of Boris,..... the worst P/M ever. " - what like a giant house of commons? right oh! The public elect the government on their behalf. They'll have another chance to do that in May 2024, I wonder who they'll elect.
No it shouldn't. ^^^
11:17 was for 11:14

Wonder how the labour voters feel now, after lending their votes to Boris in the last election.
"lets wait and see what happens with the North Shropshire By election. "

The Tories have a 27,000 majority and now Mr Paterson has left the scene they will win it.
But if they do very badly or lose that would make an election even less likely than it is now! Turkeys don't as a rule vote for Christmas. Only oven-ready versions of themselves as in 2019 :-)
Stupid question.
We are stuck with Boris (or his successor) until 2014. Then the Labour Party can have another go at losing a General Election.
wow gromit, is HG Wells running the campaign?
Question Author
Think Boris and his crooked cons have been taking lessons from Vladimir.
11:27, well if he has gully you'll never get him out, Putin is the master of staying in power! PMSL!
Going back in time Gromit? :O). I propose we go back to McMillan when we never had it so good!
